WEEK 10

 I have been to Dong Guan part of China to visit the factory to see how they make the furniture and progress. On that day we have seen 3 different factories. one is making some that very low budget and basic furniture; Second is to make steel like steel for the wall and steel for the furniture and the last one is very big factory-this factory the main focus on worldwide because they will deliver to different countries such as Taiwan and Korea, Hong Kong etc. 
   For me this time was a very special experience to me. Because you can see how they make the funiture piece by piece and the progress. Also, I can see how big china is and I was very enjoy it.

Week 9


 On this week, will be as usual. Doing technical drawing and office general.
 But have a little bit different is need to redraw the door for the front. The CAD drawing is drawn by other people I just need to do some change on it. so will change one dor to sliding door. 
here is they have drawn a draft on the paper and let me draw in on the computer.

Here is when I finished on the computer.

 This book cabinet is on a hurry so need to finish immediately because they said as soon as you can and it was quite challenging.

 

Week 8

Started to use AutoCAD to draw the elevation. This is a little bit hard for me because in uni normally use 3D turn to plan also you can cut section on 3D and will come out with the plan as well but i have learnt a lot from drawing technical drawing and the staff have taught me a lot.

 

Din Tai Fin(Nanjing) -  Finally, I have finished the layout plan. Have changed quite a lot of time after the meeting. Now, only need the client to confirm.                                                 

  

                                           

 

Weeks 6

After meeting,was drawing few projects. Because have some revision from the clients so need to change the layout plan.so for these project still haven't confirm yet.

Need to keep changing the layout plan again and again and i think this is very useful for my drawing skill.

Week 3

Learning how to use AutoCAD to draw. Has a staff taught me is called Benny who taught me how to use the CAD and some short cut to quickly draw a plan.

Started to draw on the computer using AutoCAD

Second times-Need to change. Move and add move chair and table, service desk.

 Need to add facade for the restaurant

 change it again.

 Not really finished yet still need to change a bit for the facade

Start to do the technical drawing for Din Tia Fung.
They have let me to play around the layout plan. After that, we will talk through the layout plan it is okay or not and what is the reason for that. And I think this is very useful to me because like putting the sits for the pathway you need to leave 1200m -1500mm etc.

They have drawn me a draft layout so i can get the concept because is a regular client so need to have similar design and style for the restaurant
